Where is your Treasure? – CRC Sunday Sermon

March 10, 2019

Psalm 99 #820 Trinity Hymnal
The Lord reigns, let the nations tremble;

he sits enthroned between the cherubim, let the earth shake.
Great is the Lord in Zion; he is exalted over all the nations.

Let them praise your great and awesome name – he is holy.
The King is might, he loves justice –

you have established equity;
in Jacob you have done what is just and right.
Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his footstool; he is holy.
Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel was among those who called on his name;

they call on the Lord and he answered them.
He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud;

they kept his statutes and the decrees he gave them.
O Lord our God, you answered them; you were to Israel a forgiving God, though you punished their misdeeds.
Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his holy mountain, for the Lord our God is holy.

Hallelujah, Praise Jehovah (TH #57)

Here is Love (HMA #47)

Here is love wide as the ocean
Loving kindness as a flood
When the Prince of Life, our ransom
Shed for us His precious blood
Who His love will not remember?
Who can cease to sing His praise?
He can never be forgotten
Throughout Heaven’s eternal days

On the mount of crucifixion
Fountains opened deep and wide
Through the floodgates of God’s mercy
Flowed a vast and gracious tide
Grace and love like mighty rivers
Poured incessant from above
And Heaven’s peace and perfect justice
Kissed a guilty world in love

Oh how marvelous, oh how glorious
Is my Savior’s love for me!
Oh how marvelous, oh how glorious
Is my Savior’s love for me!

Of Your fullness You are pouring
Your great love on me anew
Without measure, full and boundless
Drawing out my heart to You
You alone will be my glory
Nothing in the world I see
You have cleansed and sanctified me
You Yourself have set me free

I’ve Found the Pearl of Greatest Price, #696 Trinity Hymnal

I’ve found the pearl of greatest price!
My heart doth sing for joy;
And sing I must, for Christ is mine!
Christ shall my song employ.

Christ is my Prophet, Priest, and King;
My Prophet full of light,
My great High Priest before the throne,
My King of heav’nly might.

For he indeed is Lord of lords,
And he the King of kings;
He is the Sun of Righteousness,
With healing in his wings.

Christ is my peace; he died for me,
For me he shed his blood;
And as my wondrous Sacrifice,
Offered himself to God.

Christ Jesus is my all in all,
My comfort and my love;
My life below, and he shall be
My joy and crown above.

  1. I didn’t notice the linked songs before. How lovely. That really rounds out the whole church service experience.

    I love being part of a church again. This is really great of TWBTC and Pastor Crippen and the conventional congregants of CRC. 🙂

  2. If the sermon is not ready Sunday I check back on Monday. Just finished watching the sermon, it was wonderful! What a blessing. Even though my aunt stole my earthly inheritance last year, she can not touch my heavenly inheritance in Jesus my Lord!!

  3. We are finding that it is taking longer than expected to get the video up on sermon audio and onto our youtube channel. We had hoped it could be done each week by Sunday evening, but on occasion the video may not be up until Monday. Thanks for your patience!!
